A church called Valley Bible Church needed a welcome center for the opening of their new campus, so they came to me and I gladly agreed to build this for them. This welcome center is 8ft long x 3.5ft x 3.5ft. The idea is this would be a focal point, when someone enters the building and are greeted (with a smile) when coming to church, or other events.
It is made from donated fence boards, from local building companies and other reclaimed wood I acquired into from different places. Inside the welcome are two shelves, so others they can store supplies or other materials needed.
This is the biggest solo project I completed in my woodworking career and it took about 14 hours from start to finish.
